Frequently asked questions
The questions we get most often on the phone, answered straight. If yours is missing, write to us and we will add it.
Medical treatments are carried out by registered medical staff. Medical direction is by Dr María Granados, a licensed physician and surgeon, specialist in rheumatology, with a master's degree in aesthetic medicine. The eye unit is led by a medical ophthalmologist. Treatment room procedures are carried out by specialised technical staff, always under clinic protocol.
It depends on the treatment. Botulinum toxin feels like a very brief sting. Hyaluronic acid is applied with topical anaesthetic or with a product that already contains it. Threads and blepharoplasty are done under local anaesthetic. Any discomfort afterwards is usually mild and lasts hours rather than days.
The aim is that they cannot. We work with measured doses and a full-face assessment, and in many cases we prefer to spread the result over several sessions rather than do everything at once. If what you want is a very obvious change, we will say so frankly and consider whether it is the right thing to do.
Botulinum toxin, between three and six months depending on the person and the area. Hyaluronic acid, six to eighteen months depending on the product and the area treated. Collagen stimulators act more slowly but last longer, generally one to two years. Nobody can give you an exact figure before seeing how your tissue responds.
Tell us. Every proposal includes a review appointment, and that is exactly the appointment for adjusting. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved, although the process does not always leave the area exactly as it was, and we explain that before starting. Botulinum toxin cannot be reversed: you wait for the effect to wear off. We would rather you knew this beforehand than afterwards.
We do not publish price lists, because the cost depends on the product, the quantity and the number of sessions, and an isolated figure on a website is misleading. At the first consultation you will get a fixed quote before you decide anything. An assessment appointment does not commit you to treatment.
Allow between thirty and forty-five minutes. That appointment is for talking, examining and proposing. We do not treat on the same day by default: if you prefer to think it over, the proposal still stands when you come back.
For purely cosmetic indications we do not treat minors. Beyond that there is no correct age, there are indications. Some patients come in their thirties for prevention and others start at sixty, and both are equally reasonable.
Yes, and more every year. The most common requests are botulinum toxin in the upper third, collagen stimulators, the hair unit and bruxism. The approach is the same: a natural result and measured doses.
It depends. Pigmentation and vascular treatments are planned outside the months of strongest sun, so if you come in July we will probably suggest waiting. Most facial treatments can be done with strict sun protection.
An appointment is better. We work to a closed diary so that nobody waits and so we can give each person the time they need. You can book by phone, by WhatsApp or with the form on this website.
At the clinic we work in Spanish and English. This website is in four languages and you are welcome to write to us in yours: we will reply in the same language and arrange the consultation in whatever way suits you best.
With brands that stand behind their traceability and have clinical studies: among others Galderma, Allergan, Teoxane, Fillmed and Croma. For botulinum toxin we mainly use Vistabel and Alluzience. You are welcome to ask to see the product before it is used.
The qualification of the person treating you and what they are legally allowed to do. A beauty salon cannot carry out medical treatments such as injections or eyelid surgery. Here there is registered medical direction and a protocol of prior assessment, which is what makes it possible to spot a contraindication before treating.
The Elche clinic is in the centre, at Calle Felipe Moya 46, with paid street parking in the surrounding streets. In Almoradí, on Avenida San Luis, street parking is more straightforward.
Yes, in a clinical record, as health regulations require. It is kept for the legal period, it is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes and you can exercise your rights of access, rectification and erasure by writing to us. The detail is in the privacy policy.
Let us start with an assessment
A first consultation is there to work out what you need, not to sell you a package. Tell us what is on your mind and we will tell you frankly what can be done.
