Varicose and spider veins
A complaint that is cosmetic and medical at the same time, and one that is better not left to run.
We treat small varicose veins and spider veins on the legs to improve both the appearance and the symptoms that come with them: heaviness, swelling at the end of the day and cramps. The initial assessment establishes whether the case belongs in our unit or needs referral to vascular surgery, and we say so clearly at the first consultation.
As with pigmentation, planning avoids the months with the most sun and heat.
